About Frankie
Frankie joined the 'My Brain Tutor' team at the young age of 16 weeks. She commenced her role working in a specialist education setting, where she assisted the school students in regulating their emotions, learning about safe animal handling and most importantly taught them how to have fun. She now works in our Essendon rooms along with Maria.
Frankie being a 'Sausage Dog', (or more formally a Dachshund), has experienced her own set of anxieties in her 5 years on this earth and working as a 'therapy dog' has meant that she often brings her lived experience into the therapy room, hoping that it will help clients learn about their own difficulties.
You can find her in most of Maria's sessions, usually asleep in her bed, or ready to give out lots of cuddles and licks. She loves sleeping upside down and sometimes snores during sessions too, which brings lots of laughter into our sessions.
One other fact we almost forgot to share, is that Frankie absolutely LOVES food and can often be found sneaking into handbags or bins when no one is looking trying to find a treat.
